Who buys it

People with a dark under-stairs cupboard or a wardrobe you cannot see into, anyone who does not want to wake the house switching on a landing light, renters who cannot drill or rewire, and anyone lighting a shed, garage or caravan where there is no socket nearby.

Why rechargeable and magnetic matters

Battery sensor lights tend to get abandoned once the batteries die, because nobody wants to keep buying AAs for a cupboard. A rechargeable bar just gets lifted off its strip and plugged in every few months. The magnetic strip is what makes that painless, and it also means you can move the light somewhere else later without leaving screw holes behind.

Fitting it

Wipe the surface clean, peel the backing off the magnetic strip and press it into place, then let it set for a few hours before mounting the bar. The light clicks on and off its strip. Charge it with the supplied USB-C cable when it starts to dim.

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

Delivery charges

Delivery is free on every UK order, with no minimum spend. Any promotional delivery offer will be shown at checkout.

Estimated delivery times

Each product page shows an estimated delivery window for that product. Because products are fulfilled by different partners, items in the same order may arrive separately and on different days. Delivery estimates are given in working days and exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.

Order processing

Orders are normally processed within one to two working days. You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

Tracking

When a tracking number is available it is added to your order and emailed to you. You can check progress at any time on the Track Your Order page.

Missed deliveries

If the courier cannot deliver, they will normally leave a card or send a message with redelivery or collection options. Parcels that are returned to the sender because they were not collected may need to be resent, and a further delivery charge may apply.

Delays and missing parcels

Occasionally carriers run late. If your order has not arrived within the estimated window, contact us at contact@trendupia.com with your order number and we will investigate with the courier straight away. If a parcel is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or refund you in full.

Damaged on arrival

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the item and packaging so we can put it right quickly.

Returns and Refunds Policy

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Trendupia. If something is not right, this page explains how returns and refunds work and your rights as a UK consumer.

Changed your mind?

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you want to cancel and return it. You then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

To be accepted, items must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging with all parts and accessories included. We may reduce your refund if an item is returned used, damaged or incomplete.

How to return an item

1. Email contact@trendupia.com with your order number, the item you want to return and the reason. We will reply with a returns reference and confirm the next steps.

2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include a note with your order number and returns reference.

3. Post the item to:

4. Keep your proof of postage. We recommend using a tracked service, because we cannot refund items that do not reach us.

Return postage

If you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item. If the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will cover the cost of the return.

Refunds

Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received at our returns address and checked. We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the item, to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take a few further days to show the refund. The original standard delivery charge is refunded when the whole order is returned within the 14 day cancellation period.

Faulty, damaged or not as described

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described. If you report a fault within 30 days of delivery you can choose a full refund. After 30 days we will offer a repair or replacement first, and a refund if that is not possible. Contact us with your order number and a photo and we will arrange it.

Items that cannot be returned

For hygiene and safety reasons some items cannot be returned once opened or used unless they are faulty. These include personal care items such as earphones, hair and beauty tools that have been used, and sealed items where the seal has been broken. This is made clear on the product page.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.
